Keep It Up: Buoyancy Control

Keep It Up: Buoyancy Control

Working on your buoyancy is not only good for the ecosystem, but it's one of the number one ways to improve your images and video. Take a few minutes to make sure YOU are neutral or just slightly negative underwater while holding your equipment. Add or remove weights in one pound increments until you rise slowly on the inhale and descend slowly on the exhale.

Neutral buoyancy helps to eliminate camera shake, allows you to focus on your composition, and prevents damage or distress to the beautiful life around you.
